### Janae — Owner & Stylist
Meet Janae, founder and number one fan of Salon Kathleen. Janae has been mastering her craft as a hairdresser since 1997. She opened Salon Kathleen in 2006, and has cultivated a beautiful, loving, and supportive environment. Salon Kathleen has been awarded “Best of the Plateau” by the community, as well as Top 100 L’Oreal Pro Salons in the country. We are very proud of this achievement!!

Hairdressing has always been one of Janae’s passions. As passionate as she is, she has an extensive education background achieving credentials such as L’Oreal Color Specialist, L’Oreal Color Ambassador, L’Oreal Pro Stylist and Certified Handtied Extension Specialist.

Handtied extensions is one of Janae’s most prized services. She enjoys the hard work and delicate approach to the service, but ultimately seeing her guests’ excitement and happiness at the end is what tugs on her heart strings the most. Janae loves enhancing her guests’ “lived-in” natural color by adding dimension and texture. From blondes to brunettes, and everything in between, Janae loves to customize her guests’ hair color to match their personality and compliment their style, but has admitted balayage is definitely her favorite technique.

Education to further her work has always been very important to Janae throughout her career. Janae enjoys a challenge and is always striving to be the very best she can possibly be in all aspects of her life. Her dedication to our service providers by providing them with the best education and elevating them to the next level is unmatched. Her top priority is to ensure confidence in our service providers by consistently continuing their education, whether this be by Janae herself, or by one of our L’Oreal educators.

When Janae is not at the salon, you can find her spending quality time with her husband Ryan, two boys Willie and Waylon, and her two cherished Frenchies Charlie and Gia. Janae enjoys golfing with her family and everything outdoors, finding time for a good run or workout.

### Morgan — Manager
Morgan has her Bachelor's degree in Studio Arts from Pacific Lutheran University in 2019. She was previously a Director at a home staging company, but was looking for a career change. She enjoys interacting with clients/stylists and keeping the Salon organized. 

Outside of the Salon, she enjoys spending time with her friends, family and dog, Elbe. She lives in Puyallup, WA with her boyfriend, Nick and they both enjoy sports, concerts and watching movies.

### Amber — Stylist
Amber graduated from The Summit Academy in 2021, and immersed herself into Salon Kathleen’s apprenticeship program. She is certified in Handtied Extensions, and has taken her education to the next level by becoming a certified L’Oréal Color Ambassador and L’Oréal Pro Stylist. Amber loves a good color session, but blonding and Handtied extensions is definitely her obsession these days!

When Amber is not behind the chair, her favorite thing to do is spend time with her friends and family. You can almost always catch her outside enjoying everything the PNW has to offer.

### Ashley — Stylist
Hi, my name is Ashley! 

Becoming a hairstylist has always been a dream of mine! I graduated from Summit Salon Academy in 2024 and went on to complete the apprenticeship program here at SK. Now, as a full-time stylist, I have developed a love for blonding, dimensional brunettes, and hand-tied extensions. I look forward to seeing my clients and meeting many new clients to continue building relationships along with growing my skills.

When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll usually find me soaking up time with my family, my friends, and my boyfriend, Tyler. I’m always up for a day on the boat, a round of golf, or a spontaneous shopping trip!

Hi, my name is Bre!

I graduated from Gene Juarez Academy in 2023. I'm thrilled to be a part of SK. I'm excited to further my education in all things hair, especially extensions. Kacie is a L’Oreal Pro Artist, L’Oreal Master Balayage Artist, L’Oreal Color Ambassador and L’Oreal Pro Expert. She is also certified in a few different handtied extension methods. IBE being her preferred method.

When Kacie is not in the salon she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 kids. She is a proud mom of 2 boys and 1 daughter, Kinlee, who is now part of SK team. Kacie loves traveling, concerts, spending time in nature, and her 2 dogs.

### Kinlee — Stylist

### Kylee — Stylist
Kylee has been a hairstylist since 2015 and attended the Gary Manuel Aveda institute in Seattle. After graduating, she continues her education with advanced training for various services. She knew she wanted to be a hairstylist since she was 7 years old and cannot picture her career any other way. She strives to make her clients feel beautiful inside and out.

Kylee’s passion is all things blonding and extensions. Foils have been her jam since beauty school, but she loves creating a “lived in” look with balayage and adding extensions for volume, thickness, and length. She also loves bright blondes and making sure everyone’s hair dreams come true!

Kylee lives in Enumclaw with her husband Peter, two dogs Brandi and Sadie, and has a cat named Twitch. When she is not behind the chair, she enjoys working out, camping, hanging out on the golf course, spending quality time with her loved ones and spoiling her nieces and nephews! Kylee has loved planting her roots here and is excited to continue to grow her career where she has found herself happiest.

### Makenzi — Stylist
After graduating from Paul Mitchell – The School – in Boise, Makenzi participated in Salon Kathleen’s apprenticeship program, and is now killing it on the floor full time.

She enjoys blonding and “lived in” color, but her favorite thing is handtied extensions. Makenzi is a certified L’Oréal Color Ambassador and L’Oréal Pro Stylist and is dedicated to continuing her education to see where this industry can take her.

In her free time, Makenzi loves spending time with her family and friends. She loves to workout, shop, watch movies, and read in the sun. Her most favorite thing is traveling, whether that means jumping in the car and driving, or catching a flight to go explore new and exciting places.

Makenzi does hair because she loves being creative, and loves how she has the ability to help women feel beautiful! She truly loves what she does and cannot wait to meet you!

### Renee — Stylist
Renee joins Salon Kathleen as a L’Oréal Pro Stylist and has been behind the chair since 2013. Balayage and painted hair is definitely her jam, but she loves a soft dimensional color as well. Similar to the rest of our stylists at Salon Kathleen, Renee’s love for handtied extensions is real and she is enjoying learning the ins and outs to the art of extensions.

Renee prides herself in building meaningful relationships and understanding her clients needs in all aspects. She is also a huge believer in continuing her salon education and is consistently adding to her knowledge of techniques, even to the extent of traveling across the country numerous times to attend classes. She has also attended the Tony & Guy Hairdressing Academy and looks forward to consistently developing more skills.

As a true Washington native, Renee loves all things outdoors, hiking, kayaking, and live music. She has recently moved to the Buckley area with her family and chocolate lab, Gus, and is enjoying calling the plateau her new home.

### Shayli — Stylist
Shayli is a passionate hairstylist who has been in the industry since 2015. She began her career in Seattle, where she graduated from the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute. After completing her education she further honed her skills through an apprenticeship and advanced training. 

Shayli specializes in various hair extension techniques, including handtied, single strands and tape-ins. She also has a particular love for blowouts and creating beautiful blondes, whether it is bright blondes or a more natural lived-in look. Handtied extensions are one of her favorite services to provide. Constantly eager. to expand her knowledge and expertise, Shayli is committed to staying up to date with the latest trends and techniques in the hair industry. She takes great pride in maintaining the health of her guests' hair and strived to ensure that each guest leaves her chair feeling confident and in love with their hair.

In her free time, Shayli enjoys spending time with her family. She is a mother of one with another one on the way!! Apart from her family she has a passion for cooking, attending concerts, traveling and craft activities.

Tammy has been in the beauty industry since 2019 and brings a wide range of experience and passion to her work. She graduated from the prestigious Aveda Institute in downtown Chicago, where she also taught classes on lash extensions. Becoming an Aesthetician has been such a rewarding journey for me! I graduated from Evergreen Beauty College in 2011 and moved to Enumclaw in 2020. Over the years, I’ve found my passion in speedy—yet always thorough—full-body waxing that leaves my clients feeling smooth, confident, and cared for.

Being at the front desk I get the joy of greeting all the guests at the salon and making sure everything stays organized and runs smoothly. I also do content for the salon as well, so you’ll see me often around the salon taking photos, videos and posting on social media! 

I was born and raised in WA and never plan to leave, we’re truly so blessed to live in such a beautiful state.
